Here we will explain our procedures and we will answer many of the first timer questions you may have prior to selling & junking a vehicle with or without title. When you schedule a your cash for car removal appointment, there are some things you can do before hand to be prepared.
Q. Do I need the title to junk my car? Can I sell my car if I am not the registered owner in FL?
A. No, you do not need to have the title and we still pay you top dollar for cars with free removal. We take care of the necessary paperwork such as the
derelict vehicle form. You will need to provide the VIN before we set up a pickup. See Title Help section below.
Q. So what do I need to sell my car AND WHAT IS A VIN NUMBER??
A. If you are missing the title, we must check the VIN number.
The VIN will be on the drivers door jamb & the dashboard on the driver's side. It is a small rectangular metal plate with 17 letters and digits stamped on it. It can also be found on registration, and insurance cards. To sell junk cars in Orlando, FL, the state requires that you have a valid ID or Driver's license. If you don't have one, then we simply will not purchase your vehicle.
Q. How long will it take to pick up my old or used vehicle?
A. The time necessary for pickup depends on what time of day it is, how many drivers we have available at the time and the location of the vehicle. We are located in Orlando, Florida and we cover a very large portion of Florida.
Let's say you call at 3pm on any day of the week, and you are located near Orlando. If there is one available, we will have a driver at your location within 1-2 hours or less. However, there are cases that we may already have a driver near your location and in those cases, we are able to pick up your vehicle within minutes.
Q. Do I need to be present when the tow truck driver picks up my used car?
A. Yes. You will need to be available at the time of pickup to receive the cash for your car and sign the bill of sale and present your ID or License. If you are not available to meet us at your vehicle, we can set up special arrangements by email or fax and work around your schedule. The whole process can take less than 20 minutes when the driver reaches your location.
Q. If my junk car does not have an engine or transmission, will you still pick it up?
A. It depends, we usually charge you to pickup shells in the Orlando area. The scrap metal value is extremely low for vehicles without motor or trans and is not worth towing to our yard as of November 2019. You can try E & H to sell scrap metal and RV or Motorhomes.
Q. If my car has water, mold or hurricane damage, will you still buy it?
A. Yes, and we pay top cash for junk cars, flooded vehicle and wrecked automobiles in your area.

A. NO! That would be a bad move. You have to make sure that the company you are selling your vehicle to is a real licensed and insured auto recycler, otherwise many problems may arise later on down the road.

Q. Can you pick up my junk car, truck or van with no tires and or rims on it?
A. Yes, but please let us know beforehand so we know which type of tow truck to send. The price will have to be lowered since the vehicle is incomplete. If there are parts missing from your vehicle or undisclosed damage or dismantling done to body parts, interior, engine or transmission, then we would likely need to adjust the cars price depending on the pieces in question, since we do sell quality used parts also.
Q. What are your hours of operation? (Business Hours)
A. We are open seven days a week. Monday through Saturday from 8am until 6pm. Sunday, we are open from 9am until 3pm. However, we pickup used cars late, even until or after midnight.
Q. Anything else I should do before I sell your my old car for cash?
When you sell your used cars for cash, please make sure to remove the license plate, personal items and any e-pass transponders. We are not liable for any personal belongings that were left in the vehicle after the purchase and tow away. Even if we bought your car 1 day ago, it may already be crushed and scrapped.
Q. What happens to my scrap car after I sell it to JunkCarsFL Junkyard?
A. The way we dismantle any old vehicle always ensures environmentally friendliness. We drain all of the fluids into containers. Once we remove all of the hazardous materials, we remove the engine and transmission and other large mechanical components and stack 2 or 3 vehicle shells into our auto crusher and begin to crush the vehicles.
